On-device screenshot import and reports
Bill screenshots you select are recognized on this device with Apple Vision. Images and recognized text are not uploaded to a developer server. Subscription fields are saved only after your review and confirmation. Original screenshots are not included in subscription backups or iCloud sync. Reports are generated only when you export; you choose any sharing destination. Local feature counters contain no bill names, amounts, images or identity, and are not uploaded.
1. On-device records and preferences
MeowDue is a manual subscription organizer and does not require a MeowDue account. Subscription names, amounts, currencies, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories, notes, reminder settings, custom icons, payment confirmations, monthly and category budgets, unused-subscription marks, anonymous local feature counters, appearance and cat preferences are used for the features you choose. Records are stored on your device by default. The current app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, does not track activity across other apps or websites, and does not access merchant accounts, card numbers or payment passwords.
2. Notifications and widgets
With your permission, iOS schedules local renewal notifications. MeowDue does not operate a push-notification server. Notification previews may show subscription names; adjust their privacy in iOS Settings. The full version stores upcoming renewal names, amounts, dates and icons in an on-device App Group container for its widget. You can hide widget amounts and cat captions. Without an unlocked entitlement, the renewal snapshot is cleared and the widget displays a cat and an unlock prompt.
3. iCloud synchronization you initiate
The full version lets you manually start synchronization in Settings → Data storage. Only when you initiate synchronization are subscription records, custom icons, payment confirmations and deletion markers sent to your Apple CloudKit private database, associated with your Apple Account. Budgets and device preferences are not part of the current subscription snapshot. The app does not automatically start this sync in the background or send your ledger to a developer-operated server. Apple services are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.
4. Purchases and system services
Apple App Store / StoreKit processes purchases. The app reads verified transaction and entitlement status to unlock features and restore purchases. The developer does not receive your card number or payment password. For a custom photo icon, the app uses the system photo picker and receives only the image you select, without requiring access to your entire photo library. If you contact support by email, the email service processes your address and the content you send. Please do not send payment passwords or other sensitive credentials.
5. Online documents and website requests
Cloudflare Pages hosts this support website. When you open an online policy, manual or agreement, Cloudflare may process network information such as your IP address, request time, browser information and requested path to deliver and secure the website. These requests do not contain your in-app subscription ledger. This site has no analytics scripts, advertisements, tracking pixels or sign-in forms. Cloudflare's processing is subject to its privacy policy.
6. Retention, deletion and your choices
Local records are retained while you keep them. Delete a subscription from its detail screen or uninstall the app to remove local app data. Necessary deletion markers are retained so the next successful sync can propagate deletions to devices using the same Apple Account. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove an existing iCloud copy; use Apple's iCloud storage controls to manage cloud data. The current app has no separate clear-cloud-snapshot button. You can revoke notification permission in iOS Settings, turn off the cat and adjust widget visibility in the app.
